for all our science, the diagnosing and healing part can be slow. my mom was told last week that she has a tumor in her lung. they did a biopsy friday. we had a big snow over the weekend and no techs worked. she was told today that she's got an appointment with an oncologist at vanderbilt-ingram cancer center on feb. 9th. and her personal doc? says he doesn't read pathology and she should wait to see the oncologist. bull shit. please tell her something.
Just a test. Not much to see in this post.
I know that may be hard for some of you to take. But they are insidious, evil little things that act all cute and small and everything.
last night i made some golden buttermilk cupcakes with cream cheese icing. The batter looked great and they baked up quite well, but I think they're a tad bit dry personally. How does one fix that? I think it has something to do with the flour as well as wet ingrediants. but it's not like they don't taste good! thankfully, rob is able to take them to his office to get rid of them...and I also have a six year old boy who can put them away as well!

sitting on the pack porch at night gives me such a different perspective of my backyard. that's exactly what i need right now...a new perspective!
yep...it's commencement time. i don't sleep too well, really don't eat too well either. for instance-for dinner i'm now at the moment eating a cold and hard leftover bagel from about 7am this morning. and i can tell i didn't get enough coffee today!
commencement kicks-off two weeks from tomorrow!
